About the AMM

The National Catholic Network de Pastoral Juvenil Hispana (LaRED) will host the Annual Membership Meeting in person once again. The Board of LaRED invites all current members in good standing to register and attend and welcomes anyone interested in participating in our membership and in our mission. The Annual Membership Meeting (AMM) is our main gathering to evaluate and work on priorities and exchange vital information to advance the important mission of Pastoral Juvenil Hispana in the USA.

The National Catholic Network de Pastoral Juvenil Hispana (LaRED) llevará a cabo la Reunión Anual de la Membresía en persona una vez más. La Junta Directiva de LaRED invita a todos los miembros activos a inscribirse y asistir y acoge a todos aquellos interesados en participar en nuestra membresía y en nuestra misión. La Reunión Anual de la Membresía (AMM, según las siglas en inglés) es nuestro encuentro primordial para que los miembros evalúen y trabajen en las prioridades de la organización, así como intercambiar información vital para adelantar la importante misión de la Pastoral Juvenil Hispana en los Estados Unidos.

We have secured a room block at ALO Hotel by Ayres. To make a reservation, call the ALO HOTEL at 714-978-9168 EXT. 0. The group code is 2616. In order to receive the rate please make the reservation by calling in, not through the website, by September 26, 2023.

Rates per night / per room: $145 plus applicable taxes (Tax Currently at 10 %, plus Tourism Fee Currently at 0.195%). Includes complimentary parking and complimentary breakfast. *Rates are available three (3) days prior, and three (3) days after event.

The AMM 2023 will be $350 for members and $400 for members The registration fee does not include lodging.

the starting and ending times of the AMM: Check-in for the AMM begins at 1pm on Thursday, October 26th (1-3pm) The AMM ends with a tardeada de jóvenes on Saturday, October 28th (6-9pm)

FAQS / Preguntas Frecuentes:

Do I have to be a member of LaRED to attend the AMM 2023?
No! You are welcome to attend the AMM even if you are not a member. However, only members can vote during the business and voting sessions of the meeting.

What’s the plan for parking during the AMM?
There is free limited parking at the Cathedral. If you are staying at the ALO hotel, it is within walking distance of the Cathedral.

What meals are included in my registration?
• Thursday dinner
• Friday lunch

• Refreshments Saturday evening

Will this event be completely in Spanish?
Most of this event will be in Spanish or Spanglish, however we will do our best to provide interpretation into English during key moments of the meeting and provide a bilingual experience.

FAQS / Preguntas Frecuentes:

Which airport do I fly into? Is there a shuttle to the hotel?
We recommend flying into John Wayne Aiport in Santa Ana. It is about 30 mins by car (13 miles). You can also fly into Los Angeles International Airport, but it is about 1hr 30 mins (37 miles) away. There is no shuttle service to or from the airport. We recommend using Uber or Lyft for getting from the airport to the hotel. We will facilitate a carpool form if you are interested in ridesharing from the airport with other participants arriving at a similar time.

Are there scholarships available?
Yes, we have limited scholarship funds available on a first-come first-serve basis. Please fill out the scholarship form to request a scholarship or reach out to Annie Nieto Bailey at treasurer@laredpjh.org

How do I pay for my registration?
At the end of the registration form, you will be able to pay for the conference in full. If your organization requires an invoice and only allows for check payments, please note that in your registration.
