Adriana has worked diligently in Pastoral Juvenil ministry in the United States for over 26 years. She has been the Associate Director of Training Programs with the Instituto Fe y Vida for the past five years, but joined their staff in 1999.
Jose J. Matos AuffantJose
José Julian is Executive Director for Missions at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX fostering formation of faith through University Ministry and various Marianist programs for students, staff, and faculty.
Marisally is a passionate ministry leader. Currently she is based in Pennsylvania, where she is the Director of the Office of Ministry with Youth for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, PA.
Norma Velez de garcia
Norma works as coordinator of Multicultural Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of St. Augustine since 2006, and has been a board memeber since 2014.
Member at Large (Iterim)
Yazmín has been involved with Pastoral Juvenil Hispana, Hispanic youth and young adult ministry, since February 2005. She’s has different leadership roles including director of religious education, youth minister and coordinator of PJH for the Austin Diocese.

Benito has worked for the Office of Formation and Evangelization in the Diocese of Fresno in California since 2018. In his position he serves parish leaders of Pastoral Juvenil Hispana, youth and young adult ministry, and migrant ministry.
Roberto holds a Degree in Business Administration from St. Edward University, Austin, TX, and a Master’s degree in Theology and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio. TX. and completed courses and project towards a Doctor of Ministry with specialization in Adult Spiritual Formation at Catholic University of America, Washington, DC.
Rev. Rafael Capó
Fr. Rafael Capó, the Vice President for Mission and Ministry and Dean of Theology at St Thomas University, is a priest of the Archdiocese of Miami and a Missionary of Mercy by appointment of Pope Francis. He formerly served as director of the Southeast Bishops Office for Hispanic Ministry (SEPI).
Archbishop José H. Gómez
Mongr. Gomez Archbishop of Los Angeles was elected president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) during the Fall General Assembly in Baltimore on November 12, 2019.
Alejandro is the National Coordinator for the V Encuentro. He is also the lead staff for Hispanic ministry for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops under the Secretariat of Cultural Diversity in the Church.
Paul serves on staff at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) in Washington, D.C. where he is the lead staff for the bishops’ initiatives for youth ministry, young adult ministry, and Pastoral juvenil Hispana.
